When Dulcamara turns up selling the latest social media craze – The Love Effect fragrance – Nemorino thinks his dreams have come true and Adina might finally fall for him. But will his dreams go awry when her usual type, the good-looking, arrogant Belcore shows up?

Baseless Fabric return to South London high streets and to the Arcola Theatre’s Grimeborn Opera Festival following 2022’s Carmen (★★★★ Evening Standard, ★★★★ Reviews Hub) and 2019’s sell-out Die Fledermaus (★★★★ The Guardian, ★★★★ The Stage) with a re-imagined score for violin, accordion and bassoon by acclaimed young composer Leo Geyer and a colloquial contemporary English libretto by director and librettist Joanna Turner.

This is a funny, sweet rom com for modern London audiences.
