Conrad Murrary – Beatboxing

Conrad Murrary

Conrad Murray is an actor, writer, director, rapper, beatboxer, singer and theatre-maker. Based in Mitcham, South-West London, he’s been writing and performing regularly around the UK at venues and events such as; Battersea Arts Centre, Tate Britain, Roundhouse, Camden People’s Theatre, Southbank Centre, Royal Festival Hall, The Lowry, Jazz Cafe, Latitude, WOMAD, Gloucester Guild Hall and the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as having his music showcased on the BBC Asia Network. He has written and performed in Denmarked as well as co-writing and performing in the critically acclaimed No Milk For The Foxes (Beats&Elements, 2015).
Conrad has led the BAC Beatbox Academy since 2008. He has developed a musical and theatrical devising practice to create new forms of performance and theatre. They have created many different theatre productions over the years. (The First Instrument, Home, Rave,) finally leading to a BAC Production in 2016, starting off with a devising process, going through loads of different ideas and leading to the 5 star rated (Observer, The Stage) Frankenstein.

Ronin Traynor – Stage Combat

Ronin is a professional fight director and action coordinator. He has directed fights for over 350 productions including film, TV, musicals, opera, motion capture and numerous theatre shows in the UK and overseas. Credits include:

The Intent 2 current nomination for Best Action Film, UK National Film Awards, Total War, 10 years of performing and choreographing SEGA’s multi award-winning game series, Olive Green – Best Action & Adventure Film, US International Film & Video Festival, Frank Phoenix, Gold Award , L.A. Ronin is a certified teacher with the British Academy of Stage & Screen Combat, a fencing coach with The British Academy of Fencing and Academie d’Armes Internationale.

Ronin is also the director of Independent Drama which provides fight choreography, actor training, weapon hire and combat casting services to drama schools, theatre groups and the film and theatre industry.

Meghan Treadway – Puppetry

Meghan Treadway

Meghan is a theatre-maker, practitioner and director with a passion for creating theatre that represents and engages everyone. She has directed for Les Enfants Terribles and Complicite, for whom she is also an education associate.

Meghan trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Theatre includes Sandi Toksvig’s Treasure Island (Leicester Haymarket), Little Mermaid (The Egg, Bath), Alice’s Adventures Underground (Les Enfants Terribles), Venus In Fur and The Collector (Theatre Royal Frankfurt), The Magic Flute and A Dog’s Heart (Complicite/ENO), War Horse (West End) and The 24 Hour Plays (Old Vic). Television includes Flack (W UK/Pop US – released in February 2019) and Endeavour (ITV). Film includes Anchor and Hope and First.

Alison Neighbour – Theatre Design

Alison Neighbour Theatre Designer

Alison is a scenographer working in theatre, dance, installation, and site-specific environments. Her process involves experiment and play with materials, structures, texture, and movement, always working closely in response to space and environment. She transforms spaces and tells stories visually, aiming to use design to connect people and place, and give the audience agency. Her work includes text-based, devised, and self-led projects.

She is currently a recipient of an Arts Council England Developing Creative Practice Award, through which she is exploring Participatory Scenography- a design-led practice that aims to deepen connections with audiences and communities through socially engaged co-building of scenographic adventures.

Alison trained at RADA and is represented by The Designer’s Formation. She is a resident at Pervasive Media Studio and Associate Artist at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury. She is also co-founder of Bread & Goose, a theatre company who make site based work with communities.

Recent work includes: The Girl With Incredibly Long Hair (Wales Millennium Centre); Good Girl (Trafalgar Studios); Tumulus (Vaults Festival Origin Award); The Little Prince (Playground Theatre); Hanging in the Balance (mac, Birmingham); Constellations & A Peter Rabbit Tale (Singapore Repertory Theatre); Ross & Rachel (UK tour); Spine (UK Tour); The Curtain (Young Vic); De-Railed (HOME, Manchester); Phenomenal People (Fuel, UK Tour); Crazy Gary’s Mobile Disco (Chapter Arts Centre & Wales tour); I Told You This Would Happen (ARC, Stockton & UK tour); Lost in the Neuron Forest (Wales Millennium Centre & UK tour); The Eyes Have It (Imagine Watford Festival); Followers (Southwark Playhouse); Used Blood Junkyard (Arcola); Square Bubble (InTransit & National Theatre)

Alison’s work was exhibited at World Stage Design 2013 and Make/Believe 2015, and she currently holds an Arts Council Developing Creative Practice grant.
She is also co-founder of Bread & Goose, a theatre company who make site based work with communities. Alison has taught theatre design at Rose Bruford College, Lewisham College, RADA, University of Creative Arts, University of Hull, and Canterbury Christchurch University, and led artistic residencies at numerous institutions across the UK.

Elliott Anthony AJAI-AJAGBE DALEY – Drama Practitioner

Elliott Anthony Ajai-Ajagbe Daley has worked with the Lyric Theatre for 10 years where he has run a variety of the flagship drama based youth inclusion programs such as START and REWIND and is currently lead practitioner for the youth drama program, ‘Acting Up’. He also runs freelance drama and spoken word workshops in schools for them and other theatres such as the BAC, Harts and Bush Theatre.

Elliott aka WordPlay is a storyteller through and through, skilled in both spoken and written word. As a spoken word artist he’s performed on some amazing stages and at some prestigious events including The Manorlogz Vox Africa, TedXYouth and the London 2012 Games. His written work has seen him teach across the world from London theatres to Portugal, Ghana and more. Having never grown out of his love of stories, he has made them his life, from poetry and plays to running with the bulls, surfing and jumping out of planes!… Now he’s turned that passion and inspiration into his first graphic novel Winter Solstice, out last Christmas.
