Names and contact information such as telephone numbers, email and postal addresses of freelancers, staff, volunteers, services users, supporters or others with whom we have contact
– Information necessary for the employment of staff/freelancers or the engagement of volunteers, including that necessary to pay fees and also all necessary information relating to our obligations for the safeguarding, welfare and protection of children, such as references and Disclosure and Barring Service checks
– Details relating to service users, including those of a sensitive nature
– Donor and volunteer records and preferences, including, where necessary, bank or payment details and details of tax status in order to process payments and claim Gift Aid
– Such other information that is relevant and necessary for us to carry out our activities, charitable purposes and legal obligations.
Such data may be collected, for example, when you provide it through our website or otherwise when making a donation, submitting an enquiry, participating in our activities, subscribing for a service, when you request assistance, when you tell us about yourself if you apply to work for or with us or when you otherwise provide us with personal data in some other way.
3. HOW DO WE USE YOUR DATA?
We process your personal information:
• to acknowledge, confirm and deal with your subscription to our newsletter.
• where we are asked to deal with any enquiries or complaints you make.
• to contact you in connection with audience / participant feedback forms and use any information you choose to submit in response.
We will never share your personal information with any third parties for marketing purposes without your prior consent. We will never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
When we run activities in partnership with other organisations we will only share your data with them if you have given us permission to do so.
The Baseless Fabric website contains links to websites and services that are operated by third parties. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be accessible through the Baseless Fabric website, and Baseless Fabric is not responsible for the privacy practices of such websites or services. 4. PAYMENT INFORMATION
Baseless Fabric is a registered charity. We fundraise from individuals, companies and foundations who want to support our mission.
Any credit/debit card payments and other payments you make will be processed by our third-party payment providers and the payment data you submit will be securely stored and encrypted by our payment service providers using up to date industry standards.
5. SECURITY
When we collect personal data from you we store it under strict safekeeping and confidentiality measures. We use technical and organisational security measures to protect it against misuse.
6. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
Data protection laws give you a right to receive information about the personal data we hold on you. You may also have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes; or where the processing of your personal data is causing unwarranted damage or distress; or, ask us to delete or correct any personal data that we hold about you which is inaccurate or no longer relevant.
